Society of Dyers and Colourists

Due to my use of colour for my previous project, Heriot Watt nominated me to represent Scotland for the Society of Dyers and Colourists. I decided to bring these particular fabrics to show variation of scale, colourways, techniques and texture. The judges seemed to enjoy the concept of colours telling the stories, rather than the obvious drawings telling the story. A bit like abstract art.
